I was once in your shoes.  I had no idea what healthy was, or how to achieve it.  I weighed more than I ever had before. 

This is what motivated me to become a health and fitness coach.  I do not like seeing other people struggle with this. 

Let's back up about 10 years ago.  I weighed more than I ever had before.  I suffered from anxiety attacks, had social phobia, and my self esteem was at rock bottom.  I had three beautiful boys and knew I wanted to be around for them for a long time.  Back then you had multiple diet plans you could follow, but I did not have the time to count calories or points and frankly, didn't have the money for these either.  

I started educating myself.  I read books, magazines, and used the internet to find out what I was doing wrong and why I was doing it.  I was almost obsessed.  I learned the difference between carbs, what sugar does to the body, and what to eat to feel healthy.  This took months and months of research to find out what to eat and what not to eat because I was doing it alone.  I had no support.  After I reached my goal, I became determined to help other people never have to do this.  I became a Certified Health Coach and Fitness Instructor thru AFAA and I still study everyday to learn the new trends in fitness and food.  I am also now studying Nutrition in college!  You do not have to do this on your own.  I know it's embarrassing, your self esteem suffers, anxiety levels can get high, and a lot of us do not have time, but you have to make time for yourself in order to be there for others.  This is the most important lesson I learned.
